NO!!!!!!

Gambling is regulated, taxed, and prohibited EVERYWHERE in the United States. It is not possible to hold a nationwide raffle without violating ALL kinds of laws.

NO RAFFLES!!!!!!

ANYTHING but a raffle ... anything ... sell your firstborn, that would only violate ONE law....

And here is the first thing I'm doing... helping Paddling Man...

Boy or girl? (an easy one...)

Yeah... I ran across the same problems... Back before my 1st giveaway I wanted to do the same thing (raffle for charity) and found it impossible to do legally ~~>EVEN FOR CHARITY<~~... Bummer, huh???
:D:D CONGRATS on your upcoming post count though, and if you come up with something else for a charitable cause, please count me in!!!:thumbup: :D

I don't give a dam about the knife.... so how about you just collect some money from us and keep the knife????

Ok, well I am glad cougar told me. I don't want to break any laws. If you sent me any $ it will be coming back.

Jaxx, I now vaguely remember your problems with all that. Hmmm.

Well, you can still sell the knife and donate the money to your favorite charity. That would still be a nice donation to some people that could use the help.

Nice try PG....congrats on the 8,000.

Man what a interesting thread...haven't gotten this much drama, comedy, sex, sports and action since I watch Saturday morning cartoons with my kids! :D

I seems like a slow Saturday night....

More pole vaulters...

How is it that I see raffles on other sites with regularity? Are they just flying in the face of the law?

Could this contest perhaps involve airfare and tickets to a track and field event?

On another note, Skunk, do you think you might fly this girl in for the Blade Show pillow fights?

Well, while Progunner is figuring out how to manage this gig, I thought I'd provide a little more entertainment...

Guyon,

I have never liked the stalking part, I'm more in in for the "kill".

Besides that one still can run too fast!!!

Alright ya thread hijacking bastids! I have two options I am considering. 1) Put the Muddy Skelly Warden up on ebay (yuck) and then donate the $ to my charity of choice or 2) ya'll nominate a service member that you know to receive the Muddy Skeleton Warden? You could submit a brief synopsis of their service and any other factors that makes them especially deserving of a free hunk o' INFI. You know the type of thing, nearly getting castrated by an IED, that sort of thing.

So far these options are the ones I have come to like the best.

Progunner, how about you name your charity, we pitch in some bucks, and do a good deed to commemorate 8000 for you? That way, it's not just one person giving, but all of us.

As for the Skelly Warden, both ideas above seem sound.
