Contemplation

I'm with Guyon. The knife was secondary to me, I liked the idea of pitching in a couple of bucks for a greater good. I have an addressed envelope sitting on the table just waiting for the greenlight.

This thread really has a split personality. Both personalities keep me coming back for updates;)

And here is the first thing I'm doing... helping Paddling Man...

Boy or girl? (an easy one...)

NOW COME ON SPILL IT! WHOOOO IS HER???????????????????

Well then, this is the charity I give to http://www.cc.dio.org/home.htm

Their mailing address is at the bottom of the hompage, they also have a online donation option it seems. If you guys want to join me in giving to them for all the help they provide to the less fortunate, that is great and much apprceiated.

The service member giveaway is still on the table though.

just a thought, you try to start a pay it forward contest. where the winner either passes the knife on. or offers another knife of similar value. starting another contest and on this is been traditionally done with a deck of cards pick a card out of 52. I would personally limit involvement of paying members. Although this would be kind of a high-end for this type of contest. It may or may not be limited to Busse knives for example not having any busse knives but being interested in them. I might pass on one of my small custom fixed blades. value would be basically equivalent to a skeleton warden. Of course in my case if someone were to offer up a fusion battle mistress or something I would have skip that round.

Alright ya thread hijacking bastids! .

Hey we were just trying to keep your idea near the top... as best we could:D

I like the idea of you collecting all the money and then making the donation. I don't need any "go to heaven credits"' I'd miss to many old friends.

I'm cool with collecting and submitting Tony. You still may end up in a place you don't expect though. :D

Like Albuquerque?

:D

My first job out of school was setting up account systems in grain elevators all over the mid-west & southern states of the U.S.A, and also southern Canada. Albuquerque would have been a highlight!

Hey I see Progunner has five to go....

I'll have to go look up some more interesting sports figures to get him up:thumbup:
