• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Cool New Small Crowbar for a Survival Kit...

 ..that pic of the tool in the gap of the car door.

Good luck trying to get a car door open with that!

That's what I was thinking! I don't get that being shown when it has the integral "glass breaker," although a spring-loaded punch with a replacable carbide tip would probably have been more useful.

Anyone figure out the use for the O-rings yet? I'm guessing it's to keep your hand from slipping.

To me it looks like extraction and egress tool that could be easily carried by a soldier or SAR worker who already is burdened with a hundred lbs of gear. A door on a Humvee that's been damaged by an IED or gunfire might be forced open by a soldier inside, or one outside trying to help get him out. There ain't much toom in a lot of military vehicles. This is my guess as to where its development came from. When you put it in that context, its size and configuration make more sense.

I'll ask Mike about this one too.
