coolest looking knife for $400 or under?

I know you said Hinderers didn't do anything for you but I still think the ZT0562CF is one beautiful knife, next on my purchase list. $240 for a 3.5 inch blade in CTS-204P, KVT ball bearings, titanium back, carbon fiber handle, steel lock bar insert, lock bar stabilizer and a deep carry clip all made in the USA is a steal IMO. But I guess to each his own :)

although cool is certainly subjective and a matter of opinion...this one is certainly a contender...
if you are patient, i am sure one will pop up in the exchange within your price range...

The Mcusta brand has really caught my eye recently, with the hammered steel and damascus. I just wish they were larger. So many on here don't like fancy-pantsy mall ninja knives, but I find a few just have a unique look and style, like the CRKT Fossil or Nirk Tighe. Really just depends on how far beyond the realm of utility knife you want to go. Most of the Kershaws are very plain and similar looking to me. At some point I question why get another one since they're all just subtle variations.

I second the Al Mar sere 2000. Great knife. Also Spyderco Vallotin sub hilt is just eye catching IMHO. Just something about it. Kinda traditional looking n not at the same time. A little tactical n not as well. Always finds its way into my pocket few times a.week.
