Coolness: If You Had to Choose

CF/BG42 Military Hands Down.
Bigger, Stronger and easy one handed use.
It's my EDC.
I see a new CF version is coming out w/S90V steel. Can't wait to get check one out.

Well, I guess it's good that the general opinion is the BG42/CF Millie, as it's the only one of the three that I actually own. I have been thinking about picking up a T-Mag to put in my pocket to use in front of sheeple, and grabbing a P'kal because I can never find any Shivworks around for sale and I'd like to learn how to use that method of self-defense...from what I've read, it seems practical and sensible to me...

Hopefully, I can own all three in the not-too-distant future. :D

God bless you, America, and our men and women overseas.

KATN,

Wade

 WHHHAT I'm sorry but that's just crazy talk!

"T-mag" and "self-defense" should never be used in the same sentence (aside from the sentence: The T-mag should not be considered for self-defense). From what I have read, it doesn't take much to disengage its slipjoint. Additionally, I have read several reviews that have stated that its slipjoint is so weak that the reviewer is hesitant to use it as an EDC.

If I were given the option of defending myself with a T-mag or bare hands, I would no doubt choose bare hands. In that situation, the T-mag would be more trouble than it's worth.

I agree, PSU. But please note that I said, "if." I would never counsel the use of the T-Mag in self defense if a locking knife was available.

Now I wish I had bought that BG42 Military I saw sitting all alone, needing a good pocket to call home.
Of those listed, I would pick the BG42 Military also. My other choice would be a Captain or Poliwog.

Of the ones mentioned, I like the Military the best.

Out of all the Spydercos ever produced (and this is a really tough call,) I'd have to point to the Police modle with the dead-sexy orange peel textured Titanium handles.

The BG42 Millie sprint run with the newer liner system, peel ply carbon fibre grips, and excellent knife steel ( one of the best ever) coupled with exceptional build quality make this knife not only one of Spydercos best of all time but I'd put it in the top 10 list of best ever production knives ever made worldwide.

I would change nothing about it if I had designed it. It is well balanced, top of the line one of the all time best bang for the buck. Joe

Anything with a wave will amaze people and make them ask how it works. Good way to get people interested in a knife. The military shocks people with its size. If it were me I wouldn't be buying to impress but I would definitely get the BG-42 Millie. It is an excellent design with the best steel you could ask for.

I have a CF Mili and I never leave home without it but as of late for PURE showing off my new Spyderco Hossom Forester has been popping eyes where ever I parade it around.
