Coombs G11/ATS-34 drop point

First impressions:
  • Contoured handle and G11 feel great in the hand
  • Very symetrical
  • Scales and tang union is smoooth all the way around
  • File work for thumb grip is precisely cut and spaced
  • Knife clicks home nicely into its sheath
  • This puppy is extremely sharp

Thanks a bunch, Lamont. Your craftsmanship is exemplary and I appeciate how quickly you shipped it to me.

Nice Score Brass balls!! I was barely able to hold out any longer and I didn't figure on Seeing Lamont with it on his table at our next NCCA show.

Thanks a lot guys!:)

Some of Lamont's knives are so beautiful I would find it hard to actually use them around the ranch or when hunting. This one, while made with precision, really struck me as more than a pretty face. The G11 handles seem tough as nails and their contour fits so nicely in my hand. The ATS-34 is a great edge holding stainless steel and the satin finish should hold up nicely. So I've already got a nice Alexander's lanyard on her and she's strapped to my belt.

I think I'm going to have some jealous hunting partners come fall.

Brass Balls, I'm glad your happy with your new knife. I know it will give you years of good service.
To everyone else, thanks again for the wonderful comments. To a knifemaker, it's not the sale, or the money that rewards him for his work, it's the happy customers and admirers that keep him going.
