I think the file work is, to my eye, the best I've seen. It is proportioned, elegant and artfully executed. File work on a knife is like engraving on a shotgun; embellishment that serves no purpose but to please the eye. I've owned and sold a lot of knives. I still own the one I bought from Lamont. I work with my hands and this knife maker is skilled beyond many other very good knife makers here. His knives fit the hand and are very useful tools. Good looking too.
