Coombs Tactical/Utility

I love the file work on the thumb rest. In fact, it inspired me to do similar when i modded my BK2 (over at becker forum)

Great idea! My BK2 is at Lamont's to be bead blasted and have custom black canvas micarta handles with stainless pins put on it. I'll ask him if he could do a thumb rest like that too. Thanks!

Your skills are really diverse. Initially the knives I saw you making were beautiful art knives, which I would love to own, but afraid to use. Then I picked up an outstanding hunting blade from you that I have been carrying, using and enjoying very much.

Now this blade is in my hand and it is so different that either the art knives or the hunter, yet it is a brilliant example of tac/utility blade. This one is definitely a keeper. It's sharper than the tusk of a riled boar and I'm looking forward to using it around the ranch.

I'm much obliged, Lamont.

Do you have a site where we can check out your models? Really like this one. Would like to see one that's heavy on the top so it could be hit with something for chopping purposes and maybe a little smaller oal.

Thanks guys! I don't really have a model list. I have a pattern box full of designs that I have made either one or more of. If a knife doesn't sell well, there will only be one. Others I have gone back to a few times, but mostly I like designing new knives. Plus, I have alot of customers that bring designs to me to make, so add that to the mix and its easy to see why my box is overflowing. If anyone wants to see pics of some knives I have made in the past, you can look here:

Thanks!
