Cord wrapped handles

Oge that's some pretty awesome wrapping I don't think I would have the patience for that. crazy cool stuff man

I'm glad this thread was brought back up, there are so many great wrapping jobs here. Awesome work everyone!

I can't believe there are no scrapivores on here! I change the wrap on my scrapivore every couple weeks it seems. Can't seem to find pics of a lot of them but here are a few, plus as a bonus my klean kanteen i just wraped up the other day!

Awesome, what are the round knots at the ends called? looks like little balls? how do you make those? or what are they called so i can look them up please?

They are Celtic button knots, they are easy and as you can tell iI like putting them on everything lol

Thank you!

They look good and I like the simplicity, looks like a good way to end any cord.

They really are good for just about anything, they give a certan level of finsh I like. I get most of challenges from stormdranes blog, good stuff of you like the challenge of knotwork

Man i suck!!!

I spent the last couple hours trying to put a turks head on the top of my wrap and its ALL WRONG-

Thats is a LOT of work-

I just wanted to put a turks head at the top of the wrap... it didnt work out for me, somewhere i crossed the wrong line.. im undoing it...And Im done for the night now

take your time, grab a beer, beat the snot out of that kill devil, shorten your cord to make it easier to work with, grab a beer.

Grab a beer, check :)

About how much cord you think i need for just a turks head? I didn't know how much i needed and didnt want it being too short, but it would be way easier if it were shorter!

This weekend ill beat her up some! And Ill grab another beer here in a second too :)

Man you must have an amazing amount of patience! The turks head looks to be the easy part but it still wasnt so easy lol. But the videos make it difficult to follow too, the people hands are all in the way. i keep pausing and playing pausing and playing but i cant always see what they are doing. And picture instructions are not 3d so when they say stuff like take cord a and twist x and b around y under c- im all lost lmao

I can do single color cobra stitch, I have you all beat :o

I just got mine today, Maybe i should have had it mailed to you lmao. It came wrapped, so all i had to worry about was the turk heads.. I like how the wrap that came with it but id like it even more with OD green turk heads on top and bottom.

And those are great! But I really like how you put the turk heads on the top and bottom of the wrap the best! I really want to do mine like that.

Like this is my favorite- But the ones you just posted might be easier!

Oge those are gorgeous! Props to you. If anyone would like to donate a kill devil for me to practice on i could come up with some nice wraps...i promise!

got your beer? a 5 bight 3 lead need's about 6' i think. starting it is tough, tighting and keeping it straight are tougher. the purpleish wrap above is a 4 bight 3 lead, while the trio below are 3 bight 3 lead. they both take a couple hour's or more to do. keep ticking at it, you'll get it.

M67 pic's or it don't count.:p
