Corned Beef & Cabbage

Cabbage gives me the wind :eek:
 
I'm a card-carrying scientist and I say ... corned beef rocks!!:mad:

Also, cabbage is pretty good.:)
 
The best thing about corned beef and cabbage is the leftovers. I also like making Reuben sandwiches with caraway rye and lots of sour kraut.

Man, now I'm getting hungry! :foot:
 
I may have to go get another brisket. You folks are making me think about Reubens. Spicy mustard, some good cheese, kraut, corned beef (and pastrami too sometimes) on a good rye bread. All grilled to golden perfection. Crap. I'm going to have to have one.

...mmmm, Reubens, my favorite sandwich:thumbup: One of the best Dinners I've ever ate at is only about 15 miles away, and has the best Reubens I've ever had. Yep, better than the ones in Helen.
I had to put there turkey Ruben in the rotation to feel healthy about once a month,lol.

And Cabbage...got to be one of the best veggies on earth! Pour it down with pepper sauce, put some beans/peas and cornbread on the plate, and thats some fine eating right there:thumbup:
 
mmmmm cabbage, I'd like some stuffed cabbage and some of that edible grass on the side
 
I'm working late, and so I ordered a Reuben from the grill across the street. Not the best I've had, but pretty durn tasty. :thumbup:

Could the Corned Beef and Cabbage Thread hit four pages? I dare to dream. :p

You have to remove the spaces in the brackets. If I remove them, the software tries to embed a video that isn't there. The YouTube code is the string of letters after the equals sign in the video URL. Sometimes there is additional info like "&feature=dir" or something similar. Don't include that text.
