An insulator could have one looking like a fillet knife within 2 years, tops. For you Busse guys, that means actually using it for 10 hours a day while you work, not just playing with it once a month. I expect mine to last a while longer than that tho, I dont cut much fiberglass.
 
Anything and everything will on a long enough timeline. The timeline is longer than most for Busse blades. :)
 
Off topic....Whatever happened to Pokey...Lexi??.....They were great to deal with and hear from on the forum! Did they quit drinking??

A Busse knife is like the human liver. Let the knife rest a bit and it will regenerate. So No, you can't wear out a Busse.
