This is hardly worth the post as it amounts to less than 2 bucks but after multiple attempts to get it resolved through County Comm I opened a paypal dispute. I ordered multiple items from them on 1/5/12. They arrived and I noticed that a 6 inch aviators key chain which I paid for was not included in the order.

No big deal, stuff happens so I sent them an email on 1/16/12 letting them know what happened and asked that they send the item along.

A week passes and I sent them another email on 1/21/12 again stating that they had not sent an item paid for or responded to my last email and to please respond.

So here is is 2/5/12 and still no response from County Comm. Just sent them another email letting them know that I have filed a dispute and am finding it outrageous that I am having to do so over an items that literally costs 1.40.

So basically 1 month has passed since my initial purchase and I am having to go through this to get a key chain sent to me. I almost just blew it off but it is kind of the principal of the thing.

Just wanted to pass this information on to you all to take what you will from it when dealing with County Comm. I guess they are okay if you don't need to use customer service after a purchase but if you do, I wish you luck.

It's almost like nothing has changed over there. I've read many accounts of the same kind of service problems with many people.

Hey amflud I wouldn't worry too much. I think they are a reputable company and certainly not out to rip anyone off. The fact is they made a mistake and their customer support is basically non existent. I'm just irked that I had to write 3 emails and open a claim for a flimsy little key chain. Like I sad earlier, I almost blew it off but it became about principal. I bought it, they didn't send it, they won't respond=no more business from me.

It's never the mistake but how you handle it. Right now they are pulling a big goose egg.

Unfortunately I was late to the game as I have seen some negative posts on other forums concerning the exact same issue of customer service. Too bad. There are too many good places out there to waste time with this.

It's lacking alright. I to have made orders with multiple small items and expected one to be forgotten. I didn't have an issue. But I did ask a question about a product and never received a response. I think they ignored you, not feeling it was worth it send someone a key chain ring in the mail. Figuring they will still get your business anyway. They would from me. They don't really have much competition for the products they sell.

I've ordered stuff from them in the past with no problems. I've also read some negative feedback concerning their customer service. They have some items that I can't find anywhere else and there are only a few more that I need to order before I feel I have everything I need from them. I feel like I'm gambling anytime I order something from them, though.

Indeed, they sell good stuff. If only someone would reply to emails and answer the phone, things would be much better for them and the consumers.

Oh man, I just placed an order with them last night.

You should have no worries. I've placed half a dozen orders and all went well. They are legit. But you hear these stories often of their poor customer service, and I just don't understand why they can't do things the right way. It would not take any time or effort for them to send Brother Lifeitloud the dang keychain he paid for.

It's a roll of the dice with County Comm. I only order from them if I can't find it somewhere else.

Well, we will see if they respond to this. It feels almost petty to file a complaint about something so minimal but I did order and pay for it and it did not arrive. If they had just responded I would not have wasted the time to file or post. They do have some cool gear that you can't find anywhere else and I have ordered from them twice before with no issues other than their shipping being a little on the high side, but I knew and accepted that going in. It's too bad because I would have probably bought from them again at some point. Guess I can live without some of their cool stuff. :)

I hope you have better luck than most. You wouldn't believe what Brother Gnarly went through to get his order.

Wow that bad huh? Good thing it was a key chain and not a pack or a knife. Guess if worse comes to worse I can recover from a loss this small.

ive ordered from them twice. both times they have failed to include smaller items (one time it was one of those indestructible tubes, and the other time the package was missing two of the dissposable razor-knife things i ordered). they charged me for both. when i asked them about it they said they would include these items with my next order. i told them if thats how they are going to do business then there isent going to be a next order. and there wont be. i dont reccomend ordering form them if oyur oging to order ALOT of little things. which is really what most people do when the make an order from countycomm.

i know what your thinking. and im just as suprized they answered at all. this was years ago though.

I have never had any problem with them but they aren't as good as they used to be.
The shipping charge is high IMO for small items and it is UPS,takes 10 days to get an order v/s 2 days USPS.They used to ship USPS if you called and asked but they will not do that anymore.

I don't use them at all. If they have something I want I'll just wait for someone else to buy it and put it up for sale. I don't like their not answering emails. I ordered once from them and when I emailed they didn't answer. Well I then emailed them on youtube and actually got an answer. Might wanna try that way.

Appreciate the tip on the you tube. I emailed them for the 3rd time yesterday letting them know that due to their lack of communication I was forced to open a Paypal dispute. Perhaps they will communicate better with paypal. I'm pretty much done with trying to get what I ordered from them directly. It was a cheap lesson for me but I will spend my hard earned money with people who care about customer service.

Same old story with CountyComm it appears. Their service followup for things like this seems to be either feast or famine. I've read several accounts of an issue like yours that got quick resolution and here's a freebie keychain or whatever for your trouble. I've also seen stories of customers being totally ignored and asked to pay return shipping on wrong items that CC sent in error. One order from them was enough for me. Feeling like I'm taking a 50/50 chance that things don't go wrong simply isn't worth it, especially for items that are just things I might like to have and don't actually need.

I hear you. If I wanna play craps I'll go to Vegas. :)
