CPK and Whisky (or other vices), a pictorial

I’m a bourbon drinker, but yoko yoko inspired me to give tequila a try. I appreciate the recommendation! What could one more vice hurt, right? We’ve got around 15-19” of snow coming this way in the next 24 hours so I’m ready to hunker down 🍻
Let me know what you think!!!

G4 repasado is lighter on the wood flavor but it's awesome!

They use deep well and natural spring water to make it

Stay warm and safe!!!!

This is a brand I've come across that punches way above it's price!!!!!

There's a noticable amount of black pepper on the finish of this one, so if you're not a fan of that don't try (I have noticed un corking and letting the bottle breath for a bit cuts back on the pepper)

I need to track down a bottle of Suerte.

Have you tried Codigo yet? All natural, no additives. Really good.
I agree I thought it was good too, but for it's price......

I think there's a few that cost less or equal and give me more in taste

(Taste is always subjective!)

G4 is an animal for me in that price range

Okay..... confirmed

Suerte is my budget banger.... this stuff is awesome for it's price !!!!!(repasado is 34 near me)

I plan to try the blanco and anejo next!

Told ya! ;) 😁

The blanco is harder to find, the añejo even more so. I do occasionally see the blanco at my Total Wine stores, so maybe you’ll get lucky there. Good luck!

I found the photo I took at a small local store back in ‘21 when I found the mis-bottled gran añejo in the reposado bottle. Far right in the pic below, it’s so very obviously darker than even the añejo, which is what tipped me off. A quick text to my buddy to confirm, and it went home with me. 😎 The same store now only has the reposado, $34.
