CPK Boot Daggers

Yep, works great! The sheath is still really tight so I have to be super careful pulling the blade
I do like the two prong gear clip, fits great on my 1.5" belt with no slop. This knife is very scary near my soft underbelly though, I might switch to using a pocket 3.3 clip instead. I need to let the sheath break in more to see how I feel about the horizontal retention.

Definitely needs a sheath. Not sure how/where to get one anymore.

If your not looking to send your boot dagger out. I have a boot dagger and I am making sheaths. Also I know Chad (Pirtle leather) has a boot dagger and making sheaths. If your willing to ship out your knife , we’ll theres some really great leather craftsman here on BF.

I think Chad made a batch of 15-20 of the Boot Dagger sheath for us, but his books are currently closed.

Glad I was able to snag one from the batch. I used my slotted, blackened Mummert clip.

Insane...my sheath supposedly reached Springfield MA on the 8th, and still don't have it. Springfield is less than 2 hours away.o_O
I'm in the same boat! My sheath is in Pontiac, MI about 20 minutes from my house since the 9th. Sucks. At least my BD made it safe tho! Strange thing is, it was marked "out for delivery" a couple days ago, now it's just "in transit to next destination". Scary, man!

Lesson here: its UPS or FEDEX from here on out.

Good luck with your sheath making it!

DHL is really good too. That said, couriers have taken my parcels for a ride before. On route to Canada, I've seen them send my parcels from the UK to US to Germany and finally back to Canada. Made no sense to me but it still showed up on time so *shrugs*

Hey, I get that. They have a lot on their plate. But if they are not able to handle the volume of their own load, they dont really have much right to take the shipments from other vendors.

The vendor sending my sheath paid for 2 day priority mail, and if they (USPS) are not able to fulfill that commitment, they shouldn't overcharge and say they can. The distance door to door is 228 miles, and at 8 days, its 28 miles a day. I could walk this faster than they are shipping at this point. And it doesn't help that USPS also just "missplaced" my mortgage payment. I'm sticking to my guns on this one, NO more usps.

Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now.

Unless you've been living under a rock, it is well known why the USPS has been delayed. The person currently at the head of the USPS was installed over the summer to accomplish this and they succeeded. Not a mystery.

It makes sense. COVID-19 plus Christmas crunch shipping. Earlier this year the USPS was saying they were having Christmas-level shipping most of the year because of COVID, and now it's actually Christmas, so God only knows how bad it is there. USPS has always been really good for me, so I can't complain given what their situation is now.

Still, I'd sure like to see my Boot Dagger sheath, which has been in a Minneapolis-St. Paul distribution center probably an hour and forty-five minutes from my house for three days now.

My Pirtle sheath was delayed as well. Sat at the Denver USPS hub "annex" for 4 days without moving (after getting there from Ohio in less than 3 days). Thankfully, it was delivered today.

USPS is having major issues right now, nationwide. I'm done using them if I have a choice, until after the holidays. I hope everyone else gets their sheaths this week.
