Glad to see it arrived safely and while you might get it onto a knife that ring is more for keys
But you could remove the ring, carefully use some small scissors to cut the whipping knot once you snip an end you can unwind it and slip the end through a lanyard hole depending upon the size of the hole of course!
And a shout out to Lorien too, for the EDC it’s been a constant companion for a long time!
