CPK Pet Thread

Well, I just got off the phone with the vet after sitting on my hands for a week waiting for the results to come back as to whether Skyler's right side rib cage lipoma is malignant or not...and the vet told me that it is not. (Holy fucking cow, I swear to the gods we were preparing to send her off on a Viking funeral.)

They still recommend having it removed, but I'm in no rush for her to be cut on, (at this juncture), unless it creates an issue with her breathing or foreleg.
I can't express how it feels like a one ton weight was just lifted off my chest after a week of believing the end was near.

All of you who offered up good thoughts and prayers...I'll never be able to repay you for the kindness.

Skyler sends her love. And so do we.

"What's everyone making a big fuss about?"

I was thinking about you guys today and was wondering if there was any news. I'm thrilled to read that not only is there news, but it's good news!

Very happy to hear it, Elliott, hopefully you can rest easy for a bit now.

Awesome news. Skyler was probably like “ why all the long faces around here” for the last week. I’m really happy for you all.

Blues Blues great news. I’d probably still consider having it removed if it’s causing any quality of life issues. But we had a dog with a lipoma on the inside of her rear leg and were able to wait a year before it caused walking issues.

Somehow I missed this yesterday, but it's the best news I could have read this morning. May you have many more years with Skyler! 👊
