No, she doesn't look like much. However, she is on the "Terrorist Watchlist".

Ever since the day I found her, the only toys that would last more than 30 minutes are "rope" toys.



*Here in about 36 hours, that "brand new" rope toy will look like the mangled hair on a dumped/buried homicide victim...and she'll be shittin' string for about two straight weeks.

Pulling pieces of rope toys out of butts before they get dragged into the house and smeared onto rugs/couches is why I stopped giving Gus rope toys when he was a kid.

I can certainly relate,

My old guy used to do the same thing in the same amount of time too.

I used to have to carry a rubber glove and a wad of paper towels and slowly help pull those strings out the other end.

If I didn’t help out, I’d have drag marks 50’ long up and down the grass in the back yard, looking like the burn out pits after Grudge Night at the drag strip

Was many many years ago, but gosh do I still miss him.

Our black lab can chew up just about anything in no time, but those Kong red frisbees last forever. It's unbelievable how tough they are even having tug-o-war with it.

Our 17 year old cat decided to take a different path last night. He’ll be missed dearly. Just grateful that we can live in a place surrounded by loved ones, family and pets. Also relieved that the kiddos made it to adulthood before this guy said goodbye.

I rescued “Starbuck” the cat from a power box in a Spokane, Wa Starbuck’s drive through, during a thunder storm, almost 18 Springs ago. He lived through raccoon and eagle attacks and a trip to the pound, do to a dooshbag neighbor not liking the way he walked the top of their fence. Every chance he got, he ran off bigger Tomcats and yet, he loved my kids deeply. He barely tolerated our many dogs over the years. Coolest cat ever ! Miss ya Bucky.

Because this is a knife forum full of friends, I’ll add that I used woodysone’s FK2 “bad idea” to whittle Starbuck’s grave marker. These F’N CPKs and CPKers are there when ya need em.

Emcee, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss of Starbuck
He fit in so perfectly with your family and it’s so great that you have 18 years of memories together.

Starbuck was blessed to have had you as his family and will surely be missed by everyone.
