DocJekl, what breed of dog is yours ? We have one quite similar and we THINK he is a miniature American Shepherd but not sure. He was dumped on us and we found him on our front porch when we returned from an out of state trip. He is smart, fast, and not afraid of our Rottweiler or Great Dane / Mastiff cross.

Addie is a tri-color mini Australian Shepherd. The breeder gave Addie to her sister, who was going through a divorce, forclosure, and repossesion while caring for 3 young children and going back to school - the dog was too much for the owner to handle. She was poorly trained, and we kinda rescued her; and while she was offered for free, we paid them for the kennel and all the food and toys they threw in. She is very smart, fast, and BARKS AT EVERYTHING. We've had her since 2018 when she was 9 months old, and she turns 7 this August.

Thanks for the info. Smart, fast, and gutsy is a good description of our boy so I know what you're talking about. Good for you on the rescue too !

Looking to get everyone's opinion on this. What are the most durable window blinds when you have pets?
I think I'm going to have to train my dogs to leave the window alone, but in the meantime I'd like to get a more durable option than my old cheap vinyl faux wood blinds.
