Impressive to get three to pose in one place with hats!
They have been in so many photos that they just do it because they know resistance is futile!Impressive to get three to pose in one place with hats!
So, today is 3 months to the day since we brought Kobe home. During that time we've been doing everything we can to help him settle in and adjust.
In that time he went from being silent to the very occasional deep chested bark, from snarling when I clipped his nails to putting up with it, from being leery of riding in the back of the 4Runner to jumping up.
As I'd reported previously, he had a real hangup regarding the crate and I decided to take it apart and store it downstairs, rather than put him through the anxiety.
Today was another milestone as we decided not to avail ourselves of our neighbor's generosity and left him home by himself for the first time while we went to the store. We were gone about 1.5 hours to 2 hours...and when we got back...not a thing was out of place. He was laying on the couch with his tail wagging and happy to see us.
Now he's chilling. What a great day...it feels that all the effort has been rewarded. He's doing great on the lead, follows verbal commands (backed up with hand signals). We still have a long way to go...but this is a major milestone.
