Meet Cooper. He’s a seven year old boxer that came to us three days ago. His parent could no longer take care of him. We’ve had boxers for about 22 years. We lost our last one, Bolt, about two years ago and it about killed me. I was not sure that I’d ever have another. The owner’s relatives were having a hard time finding a new home for him and were getting ready to send him off to a boxer rescue facility. The vet that had taken care of my boxers in the past, suggested we might be a good fit. It seems so.😊. Since Cooper had lived in the same home for his entire life, there will be some adjustments, but he seems to be feeling more at home and relaxed. I’m told that he is half European and half American boxer breeds. Not that I know much about that yet. Say hi to our new family member.😊
Congratulations Mike! He's beautiful! Hi Cooper! You are a lucky boy!

That's a good boy right there. I'm a big fan of Boxers and have had them be a part of my life for much of its entirety (with some gaps here and there). They are fantastic dogs! They have caused me a lot of heart ache too, losing them is worse than a dagger to the heart.

I'm glad you guys were able to provide Cooper with a good home. Looks like he is settling in great.

A day at the dog park has Cleo and Caesar pooped out!
