Is that your pond?

Yes. 5500 gal. 4.5' deep below falls gradually getting shallower to about 3'.

Do you have to winter your pond?

 

[DennisM]

No. We turn off the pumps, turn on bubblers and get a couple floating heaters for gases to escape. The fish go dormant in the deep end, the bullfrogs head to the cornfields after its harvested and bury themselves, and the wife has a few fish tanks in the basement mechanical room for her waterlilies.
