I ordered the steel for this project but I accidentally had it rolled in the wrong direction. I had the grain direction rolled 90° the wrong way. I'll use it for something else. I'll have it made again, correctly this time, into the next melt of steel and we will get this into production.

Need that pre-order to happen.

Had a couple of people over for a pre-Christmas dinner party last night. One used to be in the Gurkhas and clearly didn’t think I had any claim to having a knife collection if I didn’t have a Nepali kukri. How do I explain that I’m waiting on something better?
