CPM M4 Military Shipping next week!

I was added to the list 11/22/09. Deposit paid on 03/04/10. Funds have been removed from my bank account.

Knifeworks just charged my card! I've never been so happy to see a $197 charge on my card. :)

If you haven't heard from Roger, email him.

I did, and he replied to verify that he charged my card for the balance and I'm good to go.

I did. No reply yet.

Just saw the debit from my account. Looks I should have mine next week!!:D:D

So funds were removed from accounts or charged to cards, but were you notified by email first?

Funds were removed from my account. No, I wasn't notified by email first. I actually found out by accident. I was out with my girlfriend doing a bit of shopping and made a couple of largish purchases and got a voicemail from chase fraud security. As soon as I got home I checked my account online and saw the knifeworks charge. That coupled with my other purchases probably triggered some kind of alert.

I had a debit for 197.90 taken out my checking account.....I didnt think much

about it until I read a few posts before this post.

Its Finally on its way.:D:D:D

If you paid via paypal you receive an email stating the balance and asking you to send payment with their paypal address and instructions to notify them after doing so. The email has your order number on it and instructions to use it in the subject line. Hope that helps. Also, understand contacting 500 people over the weekend or even 250.00 with different balances due to shipping, isn't all that easy.

My CC was charged this morning!! No email, though.

Sucks I will most likely be in Denver when my knife is delivered.

FWIW, I replied back to my deposit email from March and asked if Roger needed any info from me to complete my order. His reply was that I was "good to go". CC still hasn't been charged and I don't know if that means I'm in the first batch or the second?

Guess I'll find out later this week if/when I get a shipping confirmation. Either way after this long whether it gets here next week or two weeks from now is besides the point. We're in the home stretch now which is better than where we were a week ago.

I paid my deposit on : 3/4/2010 7:22 PM -- I just called and I am still all set to receive one. I haven't had any more money charged -- they also said they couldn't tell me which batch I would be in - but that a bunch were shipping this Wed -- that is good enough for me :) I am looking forward to it -- is the first knife I've purchased for myself this year.

I'd actually welcome that kind of warning service. Not for fraud/theft but to keep my own manic knife spending under control.

Yeah, sometimes I miss the big picture. But KW did come through, I got an email about an hour ago with further instructions.:)

I'm waiting to hear back from my email to Knifeworks also.

Should be soon [see above comment/post]. Hang tight, brother. It's a sweet feeling when that email shows up, but nothing compared to when the actual knife arrives!

I'm just going to call dibs on the first one that shows up here in the FS section.

For your sake and everyone else's who is planning to snatch one off the Exchange, I hope sellers are reasonable about their asking prices. And when I say reasonable I mean at most asking for what they paid plus shipping. It infuriates me when I see production knives, nay, any knives, being sold for prices way beyond what was originally paid for them. The Benchmade M4 AFCK and M2 Ritter Grips are some examples that stand out in my mind. There were/are guys out there making over $100 profit on these knives. I sold my NIB M4 AFCK to someone at a slight loss (gave him a deal b/c we'd delt before and I liked him... still do, for the record) and he turned around and sold it a month later for well above what he paid for it. Yeah, free market, blalblahblah... but are we not also a community here?

*For the record I admit to once trying to sell a BG-42 Sebenza for more than what one originally cost, but my asking price was still lower than what I paid to get it. I will never engage in that practise again.

But...even if sellers are reasonable, some are going to wind up on auction sites and people will bid it up - maybe to crazy levels, I don't know. So, even if people pass them on without profit in BST forums, you will see high resale prices for some of these, I think. That's just a guess, of course.

Yeah, free market, blalblahblah...

I agree with the free market part but not the blah blah part. One per person so it's not like someone bought the whole run just to turn around and sell them for a bundle. Saying it's wrong to sell a knife for a profit is absurd.
