I honestly like both the 13 and the Iron Dragon but between the 2 I would a choose the Iron dragon because it's thinner and lighter to carry. I personally don't use mine as an EDC because it's so expensive and so pretty, lol. But if I could afford another one as a beater I would in a heartbeat

The CQC-13 was my first Emerson, I like it so much I want my first Hinderer to be the Bowie version when I get one next year, hopefully.

Heck yeah. Use that puppy.
I have since added a new back spacer and most importantly.
I chamfered the handles all around and a nice deep chamfer in the finger grip area. It is an improvement and it should be done from the factory IMO. And most people would not think twice about it unless comparing the two.
If you ever want me to I have some material. I will happily make you a custom longer exposed or factory flush backspacer in OD canvas and chamfer the G10.
If you cover shipping both ways, I will do it for free. After you take time and get to know her though.

Yes it will. I had used mine for a few weeks and just cleaned it up good and added a tiny bit of CRK grease. It has been smooth as glass for a few weeks now and has no play.
But yes they come super tight, Just ignore it and a month or two in of EDC it will amaze you.
I also adjusted my detent a tiny bit and that made her even flick open pretty easy. Am I correct the there is no hole for the liner lock detent. Just the detent bar itself?
