no, man, i got every brous from biggest seller on ebay, he is a great guy, no way it is fake, besides, you see WHAT can be produced even by olamic, many times more bad than brous, so that crappy brous is just original 10000%. just it is the way the strange guy jason prefers his knives and company to look like. nothing more.
thanks, eugene, i will ask my buddy if he wants the knife (the quality was the only reason he presented the gift, so no good to having new one for myself without asking).
anyway, would you be kind to post here detailed zoomed pictures of you new knives for everybody can see the quality, that would be good finish of the thread, everyone can see evolution of your quality, besides so i could give them to my buddy and he could decide how much difference, then he could say if he need new knife. thank you.

Eugene can do whatever he wants, but I don't think this is a reasonable request. Stuff like that takes time, time away from making knives.

I hope that this works out for you and your buddy....while your initial post is bordering on trolling, there has been some good discussion behind it

I've never even heard of Olamic Cutlery before, and the fact that you jump on a thread like this with great customer service, and try to reach him is awesome.

Sounds fishy that you complain about quality, and mention "reate", then go on to say "no thanks, I'll just keep it" when the company you are bashing offers to replace it.

I concur. The ONLY complaint with Brous I've heard was with the early production Bionics. Also the whole thing about the biggest seller on ebay. I don't care who's selling it, ebay is the WORST source of fakes I've seen. I never have nor ever will buy from there.

Yup, eBay is the Black Friday of the internet. Too much hassle/risk to save a couple bucks.
 
Don't buy knives off of E-bay.
I learned this many many years ago.
Who knows what or where people are getting these knives from.
Olympic Cutlery will also get my business in the future.

Olamic, not Olympic.....I point this out because I think Olympic does cheap tools from China.

I think you have a fake T4, your liners are thicker, the detent ball is larger, your choil is larger, different colors in the spacer material, and your thumb cut out is more pronounced. Also your jimping is irregular. This knife is programmed through a CAD to the CNC, not much human contact to have that many irregularities.
Like others have posted ebay not the place to buy, too many fakes.

I suddenly have the urge to buy a Wayfarer... I've heard nothing but good things about Olamic/Eugene so I'd feel it would be a safe purchase on a quality product.

OP... contact Eugene! Doesn't make much sense not to...

Well, there's a reason for that -- Ebay is an open market with a lot of sellers. Knives, Swords & Blades category currently has 221,477 results or items for sale.

I would have to concur with you, new acct, run down two companies and one responds to rectify situation then OP declines. As far as Brous any emails I've had with the company they always respond in a timely fashion. I believe he bought fakes then just arbitrarily does character assignation of Jason and Eugene, not very professional maybe he should be having a thread about his " great guy and biggest seller on ebay". Both Olamic Cutlery and Brous Blades list their dealer network on their website. Question to OP is your ebay seller an authorized dealer? BTW that Wayfarer has got my attention now, looks pretty sweet!
