Holy Crap!

ROTFL!!!! When it first went up, I was tempted to email the guy and tell him I'd buy it outright for $800.

I didn't b/c I didn't need an $800 knife. DANG!

THe GP Busse was at 1775 for several days. No surprise that it went up.

I'm thinkin my Stealth Hawk at $152 was a steal at this point. LOL

What happened to the Badger the guy was selling?

The unnamed auction site said:

"This listing (330207247829) has been removed or is no longer available."

Just my luck.

I get a chance to spend $1200 on an old BA and something fouls up. :D

So... what happened to the SHBA that was listed from the same seller??
It has been deleted entirely.

I wonder if that price was for both the SHBA and the BBSHSH???

I'm not sure, but I think the buyer is DOL... maybe he'll stop by and fill us in. :D

Personally, I can't imagine spending that much, but as we all have said before these blades are worth what a buyer is willing to spend. My wife would castrate me, the seller and probably anyone else involved if I went for that.

To be honest I'm kind of surprised the SH went for that much. I'm not shocked that about the other one as it looks like one of kind or one of VERY few. I'll bet Jerry wishes he had those back.

The thing is that if the buyer had simply posted in any number of places, "hey, I've got 2k burning a hole in my pocket and I need to spend it on a BBSHSH!!!", I'll bet he would have had more than one owner kicking in his door.

I gotta call BS on that.... that's why I hate that new ebay thing hiding the bidders names. Whoever bought that birds beak has more money than sense if it's even a real sale.

I was more than a little suprised at the final price on the BBSHSH.
Bet Ducci is kicking himself for letting a couple go just a short while ago for $1200 each.
I really wanted to see what the SHBA would bring.
