Something like a SAR5, but with a quillon. Make the blade 5.5 inches and keep the nice sized choil as on the SAR5. NO thicker than about .18, probably even a little thinner.

A true survival/backpacker's knife is something that is sorely missing from the Busse lineup. Most are either too big or too small.

Also would like to see a machete.

May I suggest two designs:

First an CG ASH1 with the same blade profile but 0.25 thick to reduce weight but keep the full flat grind for slicing ability. The rear talon hole reduced (or removed) and angled backwards slightly like a fushion handle to eliminate pinky bite. The line between the the two holes on the pommel ground flat rather than curvy so to provide a hammer surface. This will still allowing a point on the last hole for the glass breaker point. And then offer it in 6.5" for combat and EDC size and 8" for mid range chopper size.

The second would be a CG Batac (3/16) with same blade profile but with the handle of the Ash above. Since it's a smaller 5" blade the Ash front talon hole guard will be reduce. Keep the distance between the choil and the first finger grip placement shorter like the Ash to reduce length and weight. Remove the pinky talon hole altogeather since it's a shorter swifter blade. And finally offer it with and without the choil since it is a shorter blade.

I hope Jerry and Amy add these to their notebooks of ideas.

I have six suggestions:

First, since almost of the busse knives are great choppers. Maybe its time for something else. For example INFI double edge dagger? Call it the "CG Dual Face" or something. Well, similar examples are cold steel tai pan, Punch style Dagger, Protech dagger, blackhawk dagger etc... (I think you get my ideas)

Second, maybe we need some more swords / Machetes / Kukris. CG style prefered on all 3 versions! make Kukris in two sizes: Large & Small. Large=10'' Small=6'' or under. Machetes & Swords will be much more larger than the Kukris. Your choice!

Third, INFI punch knockles!!! Any 1 want a piece of that???

Fourth, INFI hammer? LOL, its going to be awsome

Fifth, since alot ppl use busse knives for hunting and camping. I think there should be a INFI spear or INFI spear head. It shoul have 3 different sizes (S,M,L)
again, CG prefered on this model.

Sixth, INFI saw? So much eaiser than just chopping woods.

Bowie blade in the 6", 6.25" length, .220 thick with/without choil. Option of sharpened false edge or swedge. Blade profile little thinner than usual and skull crusher pommel not real sharp. Handle in G10. Just a modern American knife for hunting, defence, survival.
