The GBU is a LAST RESORT, not where you turn to when you are feeling impatient.

Want delivery faster? Pay for the extra shipping. Want extra tracking? Pay for it - or UPS.

Don't want to pay for insurance? Let the buyer know that upfront instead of hoping it gets there.

In the meantime, show some patience already.

I also agree that Spark has offered some good advice to us all! All and all I have learned a valuable lesson from this whole situation. We all make mistakes and we all learn from them...

Crazy Nicky, I don't know if it's you or trouble with my email provider, but I'm not getting a reply.

I've given it another two weeks (24 days total) and still nothing in the mail. May I, please, have my money back now?

I'd really hate to have to do it, but I only have two days left until my deadline to lodge a complaint with PayPal. That would be Wednesday, the 24th. I still believe you plan on giving me a refund but I really have to leave that option open to me, so I can't wait any longer than the 24th.

Please reply here or by email.
 
I'm not really sure here, but since he supposedly sent it throught the mail this might be mail fraud. Worth looking into.

This is a very unfortunate situation.

I hope it works out (or rather that Nicky works it out, it ain't gonna' work itself out!).

Ok, I'm back...finally! I have been in Delaware since Friday helping out family who were effected by the hurricane. They still don't have power there so I had no way of getting on the computer to reply to Jim. So rest assure payment will be made tomorrow after I'm done playing catch up with all that I have missed. I'm on my way out the door as we speak...so I don't have time to do it tonight. So therefore...this isn't "Mail Fraud" nor is it "Official"...I just had a family emergency.
 
Time to post, but no time to log on to the paypal site and process a refund.

If given the choice of spending time to post or spending the same amount of time to process a refund through Paypal you chose badly.

Now, that's just crazy.

Well, if he's giving me all my money back I have no reason to be nasty to him. If the knife is lost in the mail, then it's lost in the mail. There's no reason why we can't end this mess on a higher note than we began.

Matteo, and PsychRN, your comments are also unwarranted in this thread, and did nothing to help resolve this matter. In the future,please refrain from such comments unless you are directly affected.

Fulloflead, please advise me when you receive your refund, and post such here. After your post, we will consider this matter resolved, and this thread will be closed.
