Creature Pics !!!

I was just looking at some of my old pics and thought maybe pics of different creatures we have encountered on our hikes and camps might be interesting !
I'll start off with this slimy guy.....

I'll start with this little guy

And I ran across this guy during the rut last fall, and he kept himself between me and two does as we walked parallel to each other for a hundred yards or so, about 10 yards apart:

We usually see quite a few ground squirrels:

Banana slugs too, but it seems they have been adequately represented already.

The monarch butterflies come for a visit every year:

Great pictures, everyone. I wanted to contribute to the creature pics thread, but I can't locate any pictures of my ex mother-in-law.

BTW, pitdog, so I don't sound boring, anytime, from now on, when you post pictures, say to yourself, Doc really likes these. It will both save time and conserve some energy. :thumbup:

A pretty grass snake (smooth green snake) I found.

A little anole.

A fat beaver.

A pissed off crawfish.

A weird bulldog with some strange passengers.
