Love the pic of the Chiton. We see a lot of them down here when we go tidepooling. Hard to spot but when you are looking for them they seem to be everywhere.
 
I love your snake pitdog....wheres a couple more herps...

The rest of my photos of various species of chitons are on another disk, and will have to wait a while.
 
Looks like a northern brown water snake( I think) Put off a nasty smell when handled, non venemous, but the bight still hurts.
 
This was a little tricky. How did I do it?

Great Chiton pics. I never realized there were that many types.
