Pitdog -- every time I read your posts I tell myself that I'll be sure to take along my camera on my next hike yet somehow I always manage to forget it.
When I rolled out of bed this morning I saw that the next door mountain was covered in frost so I dropped the kids off at school (sorry boys) and went for a short hike. There's nothing like walking through tall pines covered in frost while mist swirls around your feet and the sun just starts to peek over the ridge. Of course I got good and wet once the sun turned all that frost into freezing cold drops of water.
I'm trying to take as much advantage of the Northwest while I'm here as I never know how long I'll be in one place. I have to say that if and when I move I'll miss this region most of all.
