CRITIZEN Watch yourself. Refund was bad…MIA!!

Amen!!! Communication and follow thru is key!!!

Yeah. Last night I offered to buy something before going to bed, but this time I added a note about when I would be available to respond today, and included my email and phone just in case.

This AM I was 15 minutes late checking my PM's because we got Covid boosters yesterday morning, and I was taking care of my son and also felt bad myself and I almost forgot, until the seller texted me that he responded on the forum. I sent a Zelle as fast as I could.

But I felt bad because last night I was boasting here about following through, with few excuses for not delegating if there were personal issues; and then this AM we felt like hell and I was likely going to forget to check on the forum for payment info. So Mea Culpa, maybe there are times when it's harder to stay on track - I would have figured out my lateness within an hour or two, but I still broke my word until the seller reached out to me outside of the forum. Sigh...

It's one thing to have some form of personal issue for a few hours or to have to go to sleep(members are in different time zones),have dinner and such with communication. The sellers are not always instantaneous on getting back.Totally another to just disappear, or claim personal problems without any communication for days. Though it would not bother me if the seller felt a need to move on. In the end it is up to the seller to decide if they will wait or not. When you communicate a need for delay in payment, you are making an offer under those terms, which can be accepted or rejected.
Bottom line-communication is key,

Your description is exactly what the term “personal issues” should cover. Anyone who can’t understand why it might take a few hours to consummate a deal vs days or weeks of delaying payments or refunds doesn’t deserve being dealt with.

The simple truth is that there is a relatively small number of thieves and liars that populate this group and posting about them is doing a service to those of us; like yourself, that are not.
