CRK owners what other knives,,,,,

I think this is a very interesting topic. I do see a common thread of CR enthusiasts being fans of other quality brands. I have a couple of Spyderco's and Benchmades as well, but in the $500 range I'm all about Reeve knives. I've tried Hinderers and Striders, but for this amount of money I haven't found a complete package like Mr. Reeves' knives (IMHO of course). Haven't dabbled in customs yet but that may be coming.

For example, I've really been digging this knife over the last few weeks. Definitely not as precisely engineered as a Reeve folder, but tons of fun nonetheless. An awesome knife that is everything to me that an XM-18 or SMF isn't - a tough slicer. The Spyderco G10 and Titanium M4 Military....

Well if we are talking about fixed blades too.
I collect Busses, ESSE, Fiddleback Forge. Me ESSE's are the main users of that group.

fixed blades
busse,scrapyard,swamp rat,blind horse knives

Mostly Spyderco and Benchmade. Small #s of Buck, Emerson, Graham Bros., Strider, Bark River, Fallkniven.

If we're talkin' machetes, put me down for several vintage Collins. :D

Mostly Spyderco, but I've grabbed different offerings from Kershaw, ZT and even Benchmade once in a while.

All Sebenza's for folders. I just sold my last Hinderer XM-18.

As for fixed blades, it's all from the Busse family.

I never actually meant to collect. I just accumulated. ;) Seemed every time I saw a knife I liked I'd buy one or two. I have knives from various manufacturers and a few custom makers. By far though my collection is mostly made up of Spyderco folders and Busse Combat fixed blades.
I have over a hundred from each company.

It's funny, after buying Busse knives for years it wasn't hard at all to hit a website and buy 3-5 Spyderco folders at a time. Funny how buying high dollar products makes it easier to spend money on several lower cost items. :D
It's like, "Hey, I just got 5 Spydies for the cost of a Busse".
It's also why it wasn't too hard to pick up 8 CRK knives in a matter of 2 months. The hardest part was finding the left handed model I wanted.

CRK Sebenzas, Terzuola ATCFs, and Spyderco. Fixed blades, Steve Woods, Strider, and looking for others.

Busse, Strider and a couple of Hinderers for me. I was right into Spyderco but sold most off just keeping the really hard to get ones and some that I just liked too much to sell.

My vast CRK collection - now a StarTac 'zaan and a Nyala - joins Barkies, Benchmades, Bokers, and Bucks, not to mention my Vic SAK collection. I also have a few Kershaws, inc a ZT, some Marble's, Puma's, KaBar's, an ESEE RC-5, and even a stag/S30V US-made Gerber Freeman. I am a shameless knife-slut. I accumulate... and I use every/any thing. Okay, my wife's oddball Christmas present to me, a BM 171 'BladeSport' Chopper, maybe not so much (Try to shave forearm hair with that thing!).

Stainz

I have several Benchmade knives, a few William Henry knives, a few customs, and several misc manufacturers. I now collect only high end CR folders. I try to buy one a year.
