I've had maybe 30 small and lge Sebbies, a 25 and two Zaans...and never heard of lock-stick. CRK preferentially hardens the end of the lockbar to prevent this from happening. Maybe a previous owner messed with it.
All of the variants are nice; my favorite was box elder inlay....When it comes to carry, however, I've always stayed with plain-Jane titanium scales.
Let the spider-trails come and give my knife a history...a spa-job will always restore it to new if desired...
I just have NEVER owned a better folder than a CRK, and I've had a "whole bunch" up to 800 dollars.

Yes - I tended to believe the lock stick was developed by the previous owner. Regardless, CRK fixed it. I'm sure Sebenza is a great great knife as noted by many people. That's why I plan to give it another try. I recall somehow the angular handle near the butt made my hand uncomfortable. Maybe I will get used to it as time goes.

Are you sure about the detent ramp? On the blade tang? I don’t recall seeing one on my 21’s, but I’ve been know to miss an observation here & there.
Mine is January 2017 and i picked up small one at the same time. Might get sidetracked a bit, but will I'll try and grab a picture when I get home. Local store has couple new ones in I'll be checking those too.

I have never regretted selling one of my CRKs but that's only because I have always bought another CRK style to replace it. I have a personal rule. If I sell one of my CRKs, it has to be to fund another. I have 3 or 4 mainstays and the other tend to be "in rotation" for other CRKs.

I have other brand knives that I sell to fund other non CRK knives if needed or wanted.

In another thread, some fellow asked for the BTE measurement of a Sebbie. I have a large REGULAR in the safe, and pulled it out and got 0.028" BTE. However, I was SO VERY impressed by the smoothness of that Regular Sebbie action, that I got on the Exchange that same night, and bought another used large plain-Jane large 21 for carry. THAT'S JUST HOW GOOD THAT KNIFE IS...
I love Spyderco Slysz Bowies also, and have had three, but they are NOT the equal of the Sebbie...IMO.... No offense to Sal...my favorite CEO...

Most CRKs are pretty ubiquitous. I've had a harder time finding a Benchmade Nagara in 9CR13mov than most regular CRKs.

Sergeua Sergeua that would be awesome. I would love to see a pic. I think my newest is 2016, FWIW.
On a small it's not as pronounced as on my large. Watch for the small gap. It's not very noticable but it's effectively there for a purpose. I'm a bit sick and not very enthusiastic for taking these apart. But promise is a promise ;) so video it is.

Now large 21 the corner is ground a bit more. All you need is that small corner.

Check yours. Let me know. These are the only ones I have.

i wonder what the response would be like if it was specific to those who once owned and got rid of their CRK and no longer own a CRK. I have had 3 pass through my hands, but not one currently -definitely regret it.

I have a small 21 that I haven't carried for over a year, but for some reason I don't want to part with it. It's the size of a lighter and I do like it. Probably start carying it more at the office again. Delica was kicking it out and now i like this manly wasp and I have chaparral...

I have just a mnandi after going through the normal crks: plains, small, large, Wilson Combat...tue mnandi is total keeper for me. Might have just a little regret on the large WC 21. Lol.
