CRK sebenza, is it really that good?

yes, they really 'are that good'. Having said that, they are not as good as three BenchMade or Spyderco knives. They cost as much though. Despite being probably the best production folders, they do not represent the best value for the money.

I have a few older CRK Sebs - all terrific

But now they put Idaho Made on them I find they are blunter, don't open so well, and attract less women

Definitely major factors, especially the last one there...

Is it really that good? Yes it is. Is it worth what you pay for one? Only you can answer that.

Today I touched a couple of Sebenza's for the first time in my life. Wow! They feel like a combination of a tank and a baby's butt. I didn't know a knife could be so sturdy and smooth at the same time.

Blow are some pics of the knives. (Sorry for the bad quality; quickly taken with a mobile phone.) All with unique graphics. Which one do you think I should get?

They are nothing special to me. The quality is there. The building tolerances are there, but the knife is not one that screamed to me.

I like nr 4 and 5 in the pictures, but would go for 4.

Solidly built, but I'm not impressed. I feel the same about Striders though. I don't have a Hinderer yet.

The quality is there, no doubt. At that price point though, you're not too far from getting a custom that will blow it away. Same goes for any of the Striders.
