CRK Sub-Forum Idea. . .

Most of us Busse(kin) folk disliked the idea when it was first broached to us a few years back, but I do believe that it didn't take long before all of us really came to appreciate the convenience, and now I barely remember what it was like before to have to wade through all the listings to find the Busse knives.

If CRK & Spark approve, I think that you all would really enjoy the convenience of having all things CRK in one place too. :)

I like this idea 110%. I have several Busse Knives and like that everything is on ONE place and I don't have to look through tons of threads to find something.

+1. The busse exchange is excellent. I love not having to sift through the garbage to find the gold. :D
 
Interesting idea.
I admit it would be easier for a CRK fan to have it all sorted out.
At the same time I ask myself if this new forum distracts potential new fans?

As stated above boards are so potent these days, that it is impossible to keep up to date in forum.
I mean it takes time to visit so and so many forums.
So while some would only visit the CRK 4 sale forum (which btw reduces their chances to find other interesting stuff),
the more important fact would be that many potential new fans will not visit another sub forum.
The new CRK sub-forum might generate new interest and at the same time deter other as the group moves closer.

Nothing wrong with a group of like minded-people, i only want to point out that this might be seen as snobbery.
I want the group to be open and open minded.

Think a CRK sales forum in line whith what the Busse guys have is a splendid idea. :):thumbup:

I don't really understand what you're thinking will happen, Red Mag ? :confused: It will be a sub forum in the exchange section for nothing more than the selling/buying of CR knives. This discussion forum will be unchanged and will be the place to talk CR knives. I don't see any negatives in this idea at all to be honest. :)

HOUSTON WE ARE A GO! Talked to Spark and thumbs up. He's busy moving into his new shop so when he gets a chance we will have are very own sub-forum.

*By the way His new shop is going to be great.

This is great to hear. Very excited. Although I've gotten pretty good at scanning the production folders forum for certain key words!
 
Tim... That is good news. Seeing as how this is the CRK forum, it seems only proper to get CRK's approval as they are the official moderators of the CRK forum. Whether actually required to get their approval or not, it seems appropriate to obtain it first. Thoughts?
