CRK Umnumzaan Tanto

Awesome! I'm getting my first Zaan as well finally, arrives tomorrow.

Neil, why don't you contract another batch of the Dynamic Tip models? I really like the longer tip as well.

I know for sure I'd take one, and I'll bet the rest would sell out in very short order around here!
 
I have owned a dynamic tip and the standard tanto umnums. I sold the standard because I like the dynamic more. The dynamic tip blade is actually noticeably shorter and the tip is thinner.

I am curious if the dynamic tip tanto were the result of a mistake and the shorter blade and thinned out tips were the fix.

If it was a mistake, I'm very thankful for it ;)

Any info on that Neil?

Nice Hybrid "dcmartin" The lines, size and shape are perfect. Been hunting for the perfect Umnumzaan for a while now.

The Umnumzaan Tanto that we offer is a TNK exclusive item along with the Sebenza 21 Tanto.

Chris Reeve has made Tantos well before our project came through- he made the NICA Sebenza Tanto in both large and small for years and although these are not made any longer they are still coveted knives and hard to find.

I have one brand new in the box and I will probably not use it- but I do knifesturbate with it from time to time. :)

Hi Neil.

Can you recall if the numbered 1-10 10 year TNK Umnumzaan had a standard Tanto Blade? They appear too.
