CRK knife and Craftsman sockets?......c'mon. LOL. Just kidding Craftsman stuff, especially older stuff works fine if your mortgage doesn't depend on it. :) little older Chevy truck with 305/350?

All those were inherited from my grandfather when he passed last year. He was known to pinch pennies, lol. I use them because, in a small sort of way, it feels like he's still there working with me.

The truck's a '01 blazer with the 4.3L vortec V6

Thats great man. I have tools that belonged to my grandfather as well, I keep them safe and enjoy them when I use them, but unfortunately I dont remember him as I was so young when he passed. One of my favorite tools is a Craftsman 1/4" nutdriver and ratchet combo in a tin that my father got me when I was 12. I keep in my tool box at work and use it sparingly, but it always reminds me of all the lessons my dad taught me about keeping my tools clean and stored properly and all the things we fixed together. I used to get in so much trouble when Id leave his tools in driveway after working on my bicycle. :)

Looking for that oh so cool fauxtina on your CRK?......battery acid. :)

I had to cut a battery retaining strap, cut through and just put the knife aside while finishing battery and cleanup of engine bay. came back to knife(5 minutes?) and the above is what it looked like AFTER I wiped it down with cleaner and a microfiber and stropped it on my pants. 1500grit over cardboard got edge clean again .

My new Large Sebenza helped me out with some gardening this memorial day cutting open soil bags and piercing LOTS of drainage holes in the bottom of multiple five gallon buckets. The Insingo blade shape is still an excellent piercer due to that "sharpened" swedge. The S35VN edge held up amazingly well despite the tough plastic, still screaming sharp

. The blade is pretty well scratched up now, but I rinsed the knife under soap and water, dried it off, still smooth as silk, good as new.
