Pretty much same. I think the mechanism is extremely cool and I kind of love that they made it. For $150 I'd grab one just because it made me grin. For $350 there's a whole lot of stuff that will do more than make me grin.

Then you might get one yet. $350 is full price. Street price will likely be considerably less.

100% agree on 'solution looking for a question'. I think this is purely something they did because they can, rather than because they should.

Something like this makes more sense to me . I have one . Fairly cheap and sturdy .

Camp ax , hatchet or hawk , set up to carry and use the head , as a separate tool .
