Crkt?

Many of their designs just don't appeal to me. The Ripple is great though, I've got both the budget liner lock/8Cr13 version, and the higher end blue framelock Acuto+ version.

I also enjoy their 2 recent machetes, the Halfachance and Chanceinhell, and those recent Woods Kangee/Chogan tomahawks of theirs are pretty incredible for the price.
 
The Crkt Eros boasts a milled titanium handle with Japanese Acuto+ steel (similiar to 440C) 59-60 Rockwell. Also the (grooved Swindle) carries a Sandvic 12c27 blade with a 59-61 Rockwell. Both these knives feature IKBS ball bearing system. Slick one hander gentlemans's knives!
 
They have some really great stuff, some really crummy stuff... Like many, it led me to better things, I bought an CRKT M21, use it for work, and I've got a few others, do like the Mah Eraser, as already seen, and the otanashi, I want to get a shizuka, I love the simplicity of those blades, and do thin in the pocket, yet comfortable, for me at least. Anyway, I like a specific few of their designs. Some interesting/cool stuff that's not for me, but overall I'd say its good, and I've bent a few pocket clips, lost a few screws (my fault) and the customer service send parts free, no questions, so I can't complain, but its no ZT or other higher end knife, but it has its place. As stated, many military use them
 
There's a site that's selling closeout CRKTs. Their name rhymes with hoot if you're interested in checking them out. I just bought an Ikoma Carajas, so we'll see what happens. I purchased a Wrinkle from them awhile back and it turned out to be a good purchase. But the Wrinkle is a little larger than I like for EDC. The Carajas should be more my style.

Good looks. I just picked one up too, definitely looks like a winner, especially at that price.
