Crushing hard.

I enjoy the Leek for light cutting, the tip on the 14c28n is thinner than on the 154cpm version. Opinel is just flat out amazing slicing tools. Traditional knives bring out memories of our youth and are also quite attractive. Can’t go wrong with any of these!

Yyyyyyup. I'd say they are more oriented to collectors over users.

You'll quickly find there are 2 camps here. Both are entirely valid. I'm part of the #useyourshit crowd. I've tried to buy art knives but I've always regretted having a couple thousand tied up in something I can only look at and carefully fondle.

Hats off to those who can :D

I guess I'm in the 'use it like you stole it' crowd. I don't want to own anything that I can't take out and use the ever lovin dog poo out of and not worry about it.

My EDC..there are other knives I carry but the Leek is the main one.
I paid $50.00 for this one and feel good about it.

I am a grandfather. I have been jokingly called Gramps. ;) Have been one for 25 years or so.... But I'm still not SS age yet.... I still don't know what it means however.

Added: Googled the term and have some idea now. :D

If you're into Ab Bologna these Rough Rider Buffalo Horn Trappers can be had for less than $20.

Holy smokes guys this person joined Friday today is Wednesday. I mean not even a full week and this person has 101 posts has been offered a few knives from members because oh golly I’m so broke I don’t know what to do . so I’m just going to post my little wish I Had this knife list and see who else will give it to me with my sparkling purple text lmao.
In all seriousness if this was a guy posting this bs you guys would have him strung up in W&C or what have you. To the op good luck your post just reek of Bs.

edited original post... it seems nuanced light-hearted jokes will not be tolerated, you can see the original in w&c

There is a reason W&C exists- It keeps the crap out of the rest of the forum. We don't allow W&C to leak out into the rest of the forums, so the inverse of that must also hold true.
You wan't to play in W&C,.go for it..but let's keep that area out of the rest of the forums..

gonebad395 gonebad395 The posts I have seen don't reek of anything but I haven't seen too much as for people giving away a knife to the "pretty girl" issue well thats just some peoples own personal issues. I do hate the purple text but mostly because I use the dark theme on here so any font color that doesn't contrast well is horrible including blue :p

I can't stand the text color. The dominant thing I have noticed is the number of new threads that she has started. As I said before, we all have been new, with questions, ideas for threads (even though in most cases it has been done before), and participating is fun. I don't believe that she's broke for a moment (really a very relative concept and if true, I wouldn't be buying knives) and I don't offer knives to new members. You have to admit that most of the knives have been pretty frugal acquisitions however. I say... Sparkly, charge forward and enjoy yourself!

Weren't we supposed to talk about knives, and not members? Seems like I have heard that before.

Absolutely!

Let's keep the discussion to the topic- Don't like the topic? Move on. Have a problem with a post in a topic? Report it.

Your mileage may vary but I do not like the leek and wouldn't recommend it
I am on the same boat with you, I LOVE Ken Onion's designs, but much like what he takes his inspiration from, you can't shrink the scale down and expect the same wow factor. I really hope that the Leek/Chive have the same good ergos that his bigger designs do
