Thanks, I will try to find one. BTW, the titanium ball cage looks great on the Manix. I will be upgrading one soon but not sure if I should swap the scales. They are a bit slick.Thank you ! It‘s a Krein „K9 Dingo“.

How do you think the Manix 2 compares with a Spyderco Stretch 2 XL in size and handling with the same steel?
I also have both and agree with ferider. I like the ball cage and the design of the Manix XL much better, but the Stretch 2 XL is overall smaller/thinner and more refined. Thanks for posting a picture of the two knives side-by-side. I would be very happy with either.
I'll take Cruwear over S30V everytime without question.Very nice knives in thread. I just ordered a Manix 2 XL from Kaviso. Has anybody bought from them before? I was torn between the Cruwear and S30V. Kaviso had the S30V for the same price as the Cruwear so I bought it instead. I may have to get a blade in this new steel as it seems that it's a hit around here! But first I;ll need to buy the Shamen!
Dangit! I knew that I should have done a bit more research!I'll take Cruwear over S30V everytime without question.

I guess my next k ife will be with this new steel. Do they make the Shaman in Cruwear?
Because that is my next knife. I just received my Manix 2 XL and really liking it. So smooth in operation.
Cruwear and Z-wear.. "basically the same steel", on paper.. In real life, I'll take Z-wear Every time!Yes they did, AFAIK 2 Cruwear versions and one Z-wear (basically the same steel). But expensive now since releases were very limited.
Sigh, looks like some research is in order before I buy, lol.Cruwear and Z-wear.. "basically the same steel", on paper.. In real life, I'll take Z-wear Every time!
Not a put down on cruwear... Just saying Z-wear has a leg up, in my book.
I dream the day, Spyderco releases more models in Z-wear!
TiCN Smock? Kapara? Slysz bowie!? C95!!! Sage 5?
Also my favorite, it's probably because it's large and takes a nice tooth sharp edge.Don’t worry, knife/geometry comes before steel. One of my most used knifes in house and yard is an S30V Manix XL.

They are also made by the same companies. The only difference is who sells it at the end.Don't worry, per Larrin, CPM Cruwear and Z-wear are basically identical, just from different companies. Of course, heat treatment might varry a little from knife to knife.
