Cruwear Manix XL

Just received my CruWear Manix 2 XL....Gotta say it some really smooth G-10..........Not liking it ALL.

Yeah that ultra smooth G-10 is not doing it any favors… been looking for replacement scales but doesn’t seem like many scale makers make them, and those who do are completely sold out.

Really? I think the g-10 is perfect for an everyday use blade. It's not so aggressive that it'll tear your pockets up and grippy enough unless you get your hand full of oil or something.

Those was referring to the KC exclusive Cruwear Manix 2 XL, which as smooth G-10. No grip from any texture at all.

I just ordered a pair of orange anso scales from bladescales. They only had black when I checked about two weeks ago.

If only they would get rid of the unnecessary jimping all over it :-(

On this model with Smooth G-10 Handles the jimping would help a bit with the grip but not enough.

I have been using this Cru-wear knife on and off for over a month have yet to see a speck of rust. With the new G-10 handles it has greatly improved the grip of the knife and I not longer fear dropping it.

Years later I do beat it like a red haired stepchild and it holds up well. I do like the excessive jumping but can see the use of textured handles, never had a problem but could use better grip. Second favorite Spyderco.

Yup, which is why I said years later. It’s a moot point and I will endeavor to keep the zombie threads to a minimum. I hope we all have a good weekend
