Forumwise, I'm mostly trying to find out why some "Wanted" threads in Dave's B&S Forum are being moved [mine!], and others aren't... :mad:

Also trying to get this furschlugginer Lansky to grip the damned blade... :(

It looks to me like yours got moved after the spammer posted in it. Thats my guess anyway.
I think more will be moved to the wanted section also when they find them?
Looks like it paid off for you better there anyway!!!

the screw holding the two pieces together is one of the tricks in holding the blade.sometimes you have to looen it to make the blade clamp tighter,
something to do with geometry.....me thinks:D

DarrylS emailed me the post before it got deleted. It wasn't really "spam"; just another guy posted that he'd like a BG-42 110 also...

Looks like maybe a cruising moderator saw that it didn't seem to be a "Buck" thread, and moved it... :rolleyes:

The verdict isn't in yet...I had two false alarms...didn't work out...a third is in progress...maybe I'll get lucky, like those WW1 doughboys...oh, wait - 3 on a match got you shot, didn't it??? :(

ok...Buck related forum...not sheep or Nancy guys forum...hmmm...I was watching the "Survivor" season finale. Two gals tied and had a run off of making fire with flint and steel. Steel looked like a 120 General...black, spacers, pommel, blood groove, length. Anyway, after an hour and a half elapsed time, neither could make a fire and moved on to some other contest.
OK...I feel better now...

Can you make sparks with stainless steel??? :confused: Or does it have to be high carbon steel??? :rolleyes:

I seem to recall drilling holes in wood blocks when I was a Scout...but we were supposed to be making a fire... :)
