Well done Jim.

Really like this demo to show the toughness of the 4.5 oz, hollow ground American Lawman. One of my favorites.

Thanks for the vid, love watching these.

1. How did the black coating hold up to that testing?
2. How did the edge hold up? Any damage? Could it cut afterwards?

Thanks

Chris

The coating held up great.

No edge damge at all, it still sliced newspaper and shaved hair.

Thanks.

I picked up a mini AK-47 this past weekend, so far I really love it. Glad to see it can take a bit of hard work. (I'm assuming that if the Lawman can take it then the AK-47 can take it)

It seems like CS is going through a mini renaissance here on Bladeforums. There are a number of good things being said about the tri-ad lock knives they are selling.

Yes the new models are VERY tough.

Thanks for the review! I've been eyeing the American Lawman for a while, and with all the good things you and others are saying about it (and the other Tri-Ad lock models), I think I'm finally going to pull the trigger on one.

My Recon 1 should be here today and my American Lawman on Wednesday....Ankerson you are partially to blame. If my bank is angry I am sending them your way :).

If this knife is as good as it appears to be ....it is one of the best values out there.

For the price it is the best value right now on a hard use folder.

For what, under $70 for a bullet proof folder with the strongest lock on the market... I know it's a great deal. :)

It's a knife you can bet your life on I can tell you that. ;)

Thanks for the great video, i actully just gave my lawman i had on me to a local police officer, i told him he would have to give me a report on how well it serves him tho

But...but...it's just AUS8 instead of a supersteel...and who needs a lock that strong if you use it like you should (like a slip-joint), ...and...and...
