Yes. I actually just used a piece of 50 grit sand paper on my sharpening block. It didn’t take long at all and was quite painless.
Interesting. Thanks for the tip, I may try that on one of mine sometime.

Made this baby doll crib for a buddy's little girl. The amazing and mighty peanut helped out sharpening pencils, cutting and such. The little legume is a carpenters best friend.

Wow, I looked at the photo before I read the post. Had the thought that maybe the crib was whittled with the 'nut!

I am confident that in the right hands that someone could use the peanut to carve out a crib. My whittling skills are not anywhere close to that level yet.

So I love my chestnut bone CV Peanut so much that I bought another as a replacement in case I accidentally lose my first. I carry it everyday and it's so unnoticeable in my pocket I'm afraid I'll lose it.
I put some grease on the blades and wrapped it back up in the brown paper they come wrapped in and put it back in the box. It's nice to know I have a spare if anything happens to my regular carry one.
