Never been a small knife kind of guy but I thought I’d pair this one up with one of my normally larger patterns. It’s hard to dislike any well made good looking knife, no matter the size.

I got this one while on vacation with the family in Branson MO. I found the Shepherd Hill Cutlery outlet store there. Was an amazing store for case knives. I chose the classic yellow handle. It is replacing my brown jigged delrin one my kids bought me. I decided to perserve what is left of the brown one because it was such a special gift.

Yeller in a legume is never a bad choice!

A question for anyone. On my new case peanut the bolsters are squared off on the edges instead of radiused and rounded. Is this the norm now? Is Case not hefting the knife as much? The transitions are good as usual. The rest of the knife is great. Just curious, it wont keep me from loving and using the knife.

I've got a Vic Pioneer I carried daily for 10 years. Paired it with a Peanut for 6.
They were finally getting good when the pioneer got replaced with an old stock SI and the peanut took a tumble off a ladder. The chestnut bone broke on the concrete, and to my horror, I can't find that handle any more.

As i have said in the past i have a love/hate relationship with a leatherman tool. I got this vic explorer on sale at walmart about a month ago and it has been a great tool. This is what i carry on a dairy basis. At one time i was down to just one knife that i carry but the victorinox knives are just so handy to get me through the day. Instead of a leatherman multitool, i carry a vic and my little knipex pliers. Makes a very useful but compact tool set.
