Cult of the Texas Jack; why should the peaNUTS get all the glory

I love this thread! A new outdoor store opened in my area called "Fin,Fur, and Feather", and they have an impressive knife department. My budget right now only allowed me to pick up 2016 TJ. After seeing all the amber bone pics here I had to pick one up. I then preceded to age it to try and resemble the old Case XX Tested greenbone. This is a great slicer and watchpocket carry knife.

A Medium Jack... Still a Texas Jack to me... :D
I'd argue medium jacks count too. The one on the bottom in this picture was labelled "texas jack" on the box, if i remember correctly. It corresponds with Case pattern 22087, now called a "medium jack".
I bought it well before I was a certified knife nut, at a small hardware store in Boonville, CA. I bought it partly because I liked the name "texas jack" on the box, partly because my wife gave me the instantaneous thumbs-up and thought it would look nicer than my Griptilian that I had been carrying. But I mostly bought it because it reminded me of grandad's stockman knives (three pictured above it).

I lost my daylight but will post tomorrow :) The pile side is less staggy more smooth.

I was thinking it's about time to resurrect this thread ... here's my stash of 32's. I've always been surprised how few bone options Case offers in the 32 jack pattern. Add the amber & chestnut to these 3 and that's about all they offered in recent years...
