What did you pick up? I haven't bought anything from them yet, so your experience is reassuring.
I'll second that.
A few years ago I picked up a Northfield with Stag handles from Bill. He had three available and he was nice enough to send me pictures of both sides of all three to help me pick out my favorite.
It was a great buying experience and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

Bill is tops, no two ways about it. Been buying from him for years, and he's gone above and beyond more than once. One time he even offered to take a knife on return that I bought from someone else!!
