Have you seen the latest federal and state regulations for group homes? The service manual alone runs to over 300 pages not counting the monthly changes and updates that average from 15 to 25 pages every month.

Rusty,

You may have hit on our solution to bringing down Tsimi... much like Al Copone was taken out with tax laws :).

Technically, the cave, home to many cult members (one legged dancing girls, ghurka soldiers, bears, bats, transvestite vampires, aliens, et.al.,) could be classified as a "group home" and subject to state and federal laws. You KNOW it is probably in violation of at least half the environmental health laws of the country :D.

You can have a standoff with federal LEOs, soldiers, etc... but when the EPA shows up , they get serious! Even the military is afraid of them!!!

:D:D:D

Don't count on it - some of the jusgados around here are starting to charge the "guests" for room and board. Public sentiment and low county budgets lined up, and BINGO - not only is the food still lousy, but you get to "pay or stay".

your debt to society automatically - "Honey, send me bail, room and board, and get a new credit card".

Yikes!! THat's just what we need---thieves and crooks who get out of jail with a huge debt to be paid off:eek:

Then they go back to jail for stealing and rack up more debt!!;)

Grandfather Peyote is still alive and well and free and plentious in the Native American Church Circle.  :D :p
Of course you have to partake in a tipi in a ceremony that lasts all night long.;)
Didn't do a thing for me and it's too Christian to suit my taste to go back no matter how much respect or support I have for them.
The NAC is perfect for a whole lot of people and they do a lot of good among the ndn people it's just that I follow the Sweat and Prayer way which is perfect for those of us who wouldn't/ couldn't be Christianized.:)

Thanks for "inside" info, Bro. Peyote was popular (and so was Carlos Canstenada) in the hippie culture when I was wandering thru hippieville years ago.
